Boyer, Marie (Sept 14, 1911)

Last Thursday afternoon Rev. Brandt united in marriage Edward Dorschner and Miss Marie Boyer at the home of the bride’s parents at Globe.  The couple were attended by Misses Clara Allen and Rose Eggeman and George Boyer and Emil Manthey.  The bride wore a very pretty gown of cream serge with a white veil and carried yellow roses and ferns.  At the conclusion of the congratulations a wedding supper was served and in the evening a dance was held.  The Boyer home was prettily decorated in roses and ferns.

Mr. Dorschner is a resident of Brillion, being employed as a moulder in the Billion Iron Works.  He is spoken of in the highest terms of praise by all who know him.  His bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Boyer and is a young lady of excellent attainments and pleasing characteristics.  Mr. and Mrs. Dorschner will make their home at Brillion.

Among those present for the wedding from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dorschner and sons of Brillion, Jos. Dorschner of Hortonville, Miss Rose Eggemon of Fond du Lac.
